2003 Annual Report by Cynthia Easterday, Executive Committee Chair for 2003 The Criminal Law Section is comprised of prosecutors and defense lawyers. Its focus is education and improvement of the criminal laws. The section experienced a busy and productive year. Some of the section's accomplishments for the year included: * Sponsored the 16th Annual Contemporary Issues in Criminal Justice CLE on April 11, 2003. * Continued publication of its newsletter, issued quarterly to all criminal law section members. * Continued publication of its website. * Monitored new criminal law legislation in the legislature. * Sent new appellate update opinions involving criminal law to all criminal law section members via e-mail. |
